The Team

Amphibio Ltd was founded by Amit Tal. Amit is an environmental consultant and planner with 25 years of relevant experience. He received his M.Sc. in Environmental Science (magna cum laude) from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and has graduated continuing education programs and other courses at Tel Aviv University, The Israel Management Center and TNO-Netherlands (surveys of environmental risks). He is qualified by the Standards Institution of Israel as a green building advisor.
Amit has consulted for, coordinated and managed hundreds of environmental projects in Israel and abroad, including projects in Latin America and the Caribbean, Africa and the Far East, funded by the Inter-American Development Bank and the World Bank respectively.

His environmental involvement in Israel includes activities in professional bodies, holding positions such as:
• board member (formerly) in the Israel Water Association
• member of the Israel Society of Ecology and Environmental Sciences
• member of the Israel Association of Water Resources

Making up Amphibio's team are first-rate professionals forming a rich multidisciplinary mosaic of academic education and knowledge in environmental science and engineering and the natural sciences. The team has built up considerable experience working with governmental and local authorities and driving complex projects. In addition, Amphibio regularly hires the services of specialist advisers who are at the forefront of their respective fields of expertise in Israel, when the projects so require.

       

Barak Blonder

Environmental consultant and project manager with a bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) and a Master's degree with honors (M.Sc.) in Geology and Environmental Sciences, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Ben Gurion University. Specializes in ecological surveys, soil surveys and soil gas surveys as well as treating contaminated soils.

Shay Eldad

Environmental planner, adviser and project manager. B.Sc. and M.Sc. (magna cum laude) in soil and water science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem's Faculty of Agriculture. Handles green-building projects—support and certification to Standard 5281—as well as projects in hydrology and drainage: water and streams, rain and runoffs, and water-preserving construction. Knowledgeable and experienced in computerized hydrologic models and the GIS and AutoCAD environments, in ecologic and environmental surveys and urban environment.

 

Yona Kaplan

Environmental engineer, planner and manager of environmental projects. B.Sc. and M.Sc. (magna cum laude) in mechanical engineering and environmental engineering respectively from Tel Aviv University, with specialization in energy and environmental studies. In charge of environmental engineering at Amphibio. Guides manufacturing plants and companies through the process of obtaining permits and licenses, and specializes in process analyses and emissions.

Itay Lipstein

Environmental engineer, environmental adviser and project manager. B.Sc. in earth science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Currently completing his M.Sc. in environmental engineering at Tel Aviv University, specializing in heat transfer. Helps companies obtain permits and licenses.

 

Barak Blonder

Environmental consultant and project manager with a bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) and a Master's degree with honors (M.Sc.) in Geology and Environmental Sciences, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Ben Gurion University. Specializes in ecological surveys, soil surveys and soil gas surveys as well as treating contaminated soils.

Oshrat Segal

Amphibio's office and accounts manager.with a B.A. in Social Sciences and Sociology from Tel Aviv University.           

Liran Ben Altabet

Environmental adviser and project manager. B.Sc. (magna cum laude) in Life Science from Ben-Gurion University, and M.Sc. in Ecology from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Faculty of Science. Specializes in ecological and environmental surveys. 

Elinor Moskuna

Environmental Engineer and Environmental Cosnsultant. B.Sc. in Environmental Engineering, with a specialization in Soil and Water, Atmosphere and Sea, and a B.A in Economics and Management, from The Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. Assists manufacturing plants and companies through the process of obtaining permits and licenses. 

Adva Shalev

Environmental consultant with a bachelor's degree (B.Sc.)in marine sciences and a Master's degree (M.Sc.) in Environmental Sciences, Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Technion. Specializes in ecological surveys, soil surveys and soil gas surveys as well as treating contaminated soils.                   

Dr. Daniela Kopel

Ecologist and environmental consultant holds a BA from the Faculty of Chemistry, Technion. MA and Ph.D. from the Department of Geography and Environmental Studies, University of Haifa. Postdoctoral research from the Remote Sensing and Digital Image Processing Institute at Osnabruck University, Germany. Specializes in botanical, ecological and environmental surveys.


 

Gabi Greenstein

Environmental consultant and project manager. BA and MA (with honors) in Geography and Human Environment from Tel Aviv University. Specializes in environmental planning, environmental surveys, and mapping (GIS).

Dr. Michael Alexander

Urban planner and environmental consultant. B.A. from the Univ. of Pennsylvania (magna cum laude); M.A. and Graduate of the Institute for Urban and Regional Studies from the Hebrew Univ. of Jerusalem; Ph.D. in urban policy from the Univ. of Amsterdam (Dept. of Geography and Planning). Diverse experience in planning and implementation of municipal policies spanning the socio-economic fields as well as transportation. As a consultant in the Planning Division of Tel Aviv-Yafo Municipality, he initiated and planned the city's first "Green Transport Network" for non-motorized movement in the city (pedestrians and cyclists) and was responsible for the establishment of Israel's first urban cycling network infrastructure (now expanded beyond Tel Aviv to the Dan metropolitan area), pioneering a shift in Israeli planning paradigms regarding non-motorized transport.

Elionor Ginzborg

Eli Ginsburg graduated from King's College London with a degree in Physical Geography (BSc). She holds a Master's degree in Environmental Technology, specialising in water management, from Imperial College London. At Amphibio, works as an environmental consultant, specialising in planning, green building and mapping.

 

Eng. Reuven geinosar

Graduated the Technion institute in Haifa, un the field of industrial engineering and economic. Above 25 years as managing director in industrial firms. Last 15 years as consulting in fields of management, quality assurance and financing.

Massarwa mahmoud

Environmental planner, adviser and project manager. B.Sc.in environmental sciences from Hadassah   Jerusalem's. Handles green-building projects—support and certification to Standard 5281—as well as projects in hydrology and drainage: water and streams, rain and runoffs, and water-preserving construction. Knowledgeable and experienced in computerized hydrologic models and the GIS and AutoCAD environments, in ecologic and environmental surveys and urban environment. Additionally experience  in air quality and air emissions from industry.

Dana Levi

Environmental planner, adviser and project manager. Holds bachelor degree in Architecture (B.Arch) from The David Azrieli School of Architecture in Tel Aviv University, B.Sc in life sciences and M.Sc in ecology and environmental quality from the faculty of life sciences, Tel Aviv University. Has planning experience with AutoCAD and Sketchup and mapping with GIS. Specializes in environmental planning, environmental surveys, and mapping.

Karen Horwitz

Environmental Engineer and Environmental Consultant. B.Sc. in Environmental Engineering from the Technion- Israel Institute of Technology, specializing in Atmosphere and Sea, Remote Sensing. Specializes in process and emissions analyses, environmental planning and mapping.
